However, as it stands right now, full extra long sheets are considered custom.  There are certainly options for finding these sheets, especially with online venues, but what price are you willing to pay?  Some companies will charge an arm and a leg for custom sheets.  Keep in mind that price differences you find from a single retailer will be caused by differences in material.  While cotton is typically the fabric of choice, there is an easy way to validate a price increase: thread count.  Higher thread counts mean there is more fabric per square inch.  This increases the softness of the sheets, not to mention their lifetime.

The bottom line is that if you find yourself struggling to sleep at night due to a short mattress, you need to make an investment in an extra long mattress.  Full-size beds are perfect for tall teens and adults that need something wider than a twin but not as wide as a queen.  This leaves you seeking out full extra long sheets, which can be quite a task.  However, once you find the right retailer that understands your predicament, you can make your sheet selection at an affordable price.
