Olympic Queen Sheets – The Need for Rare Sheet Sizes

Olympic Queen Sheets – The Need for Rare Sheet Sizes
When it comes to selecting your bed size, there are many things to consider.  You want enough width and length to sleep comfortably, which is a great challenge for tall individuals or those who toss and turn.  You may simply want a luxuriously large bed, in which case an Olympic Queen bed could be for you.  Of course, with the decision to have an oddly-sized bed, you will need a way to obtain Olympic Queen sheets without paying a high price and thus making you regret your decision.  Fortunately, there are retailers online where you can buy oddly-sized bedding.
Olympic Queen sheets are designed to fit queen size beds that are 6” wider than standard queens.  All in all, the dimensions of an Olympic Queen bed are 66” x 80”.  This is a good choice if you want the width to be closer to a king-size bed’s dimensions without the added length.  After all, 6’8” is typically a long enough bed to suit most people.  Of course, there are the rare situations where people require a bed longer than this, but in this situation, they should choose a California Queen or California King rather than an Olympic Queen.
Keep in mind that an Olympic Queen bed is not built to fit in small rooms.  That means if you plan on getting this size bed, you must first ensure that the room will be large enough.  You would be surprised the difference that a few inches makes for a bed to fit well into a room.  Do not let anyone convince you that buying or taking an Olympic Queen bed off someone’s hands is a bad decision based on the fact that sheets are difficult to find.  While you may need to turn to an online source for Olympic Queen sheets, they certainly are not impossible to find.
Once you find the retailer you want to buy Olympic Queen sheets from, you have a few options to consider.  It is wise to buy a fitted sheet so re-tucking of the sheet you lie on can be avoided.  These come in multiple thread counts and several different colors so you can find something that will match your comforter.  Then, you may need to consider a deep pocket orextra deep pocket sheet if your mattress is 15” to 16” deep or 16” to 22” deep, respectively.  Soon, you will have what you need for a restful night’s sleep.
Thanks,
Rose
